Cherokee Speedway Welcomes Bill Hendren Memorial
Each and every season, race teams across the nation
highlight certain events on their respective calendars
knowing the honor and prestige the awaits those who
ultimately emerge victorious. In addition to the actual
race itself, there are a select group of events that
deliver increased excitement and an electric environment.
For 6 years now, the Bill Hendren Memorial has delivered
this exact atmosphere for racers and fans across the
southeast. The annual event which honors the life and
accomplishments of our storied friend is now just one week
away as Cherokee Speedway officials finalize the details
of this $5000 To Win event.
The 2017 Bill Hendren Memorial is the 2nd SRI Performance

will once again sanction the race as the event makes its
very first appearance at Gaffney, South Carolina's
Cherokee Speedway. Numerous teams across the east coast
are already gearing up for what will be one of region's
largest crate late model payouts in recent history.
The list of drivers to keep an eye on continues to grow
and while several teams have already enjoyed some early
season success, countless others are looking to this
illustrious event to help springboard their own season.
