SECA Late Model Technical Bulletin (9/19/17)

After extensive research and thorough consideration, South Eastern Crate Association officials have unanimously agreed to disallow the use of Air Shocks, Air Springs, Air Bump Stops, and Air Dumps effectively immediately. While association officials remain open-minded to technological improvements and creativity within our sport, the use of the aforementioned items represent a path that we do not wish to see our teams explore at this time.

"Our management team has been discussing this topic for quite awhile", stated SECA's Timmy Mcabee. "Our teams already have more than enough resources to gain speed and improve car performance. As a crate racing sanctioning body, we see no need to open the door to this type of technology at this time."

While association officials work to amend the current rulebook, all teams competing in SECA sanctioned events are reminded that this amendment is effectively immediately and will be monitored accordingly moving forward. Should any driver or team have any question or concern, feel free to contact SECA Late Model Division Manager Joey Phillips at 980-522-0032.
