SECA Welcomes Division Manager Additions
With the 2017 South Eastern Crate Association season set
to kick off next weekend, association officials are
pleased to announce 2 new team additions. Dustin Sweatt
and Joey Phillips join the SECA management team effective
immediately as Crate Sportsman Division Manager and Crate
Late Model Division Manager respectively. While both will
work directly with SECA management, our race teams will
now have direct access to both Sweatt and Phillips
throughout the season via telephone, email, and
representation at all SECA sanctioned tracks.
"Jason and I have been discussing this addition for quite
some time now”, stated SECA's Timmy Mcabee. "While we
continue to give our tracks and teams 100% of our own
efforts, we also realize the value that increasing our
overall presence brings. Dustin and Joey bring tremendous
experience and knowledge to our program and we are pleased
to have them on board!"
“The addition of division mangers to our program is
definitely a step in the right direction”, explained SECA's
Jason Atkins. “Timmy and I are very hands-on with SECA.
However, we have acknowledged the need for increased
representation and we realize that we can’t work on the
logistical end of furthering the development of the
overall SECA program without devoting more time to the
business side of the association. The addition of Dustin
and Joey solves both of those problems and we look forward
to working with them.
In closing, we welcome our new division managers and
encourage our teams to begin interacting with them when
the season kicks off next weekend. Contact information for
both Sweatt and Phillips will soon be available at
