Parsons Tires From Friendship Do Not Meet The Benchmark

At the conclusion of the May 28th SECA sanctioned Crate Modified main event at Friendship Speedway, a tire from racer Jeff Parsons was protested by a fellow competitor.

The tire sample was taken by track officials, secured, and delivered to an independently contracted laboratory for detailed analysis. The analysis is conclusive that those samples do not meet the benchmark set forth by the manufacturer.

Therefore, in accordance with the 2016 SECA Crate Modified Rulebook, Parsons is disqualified from the May 28th SECA Crate Modified event at Friendship Speedway and will face the penalties outlined in the SECA Crate Modified Rulebook.

All other competitors originally finishing behind Parsons will be moved up one spot accordingly. On behalf of SECA, we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved for their cooperation and professionalism during this process.
