Coulter's Cherokee Victory Upheld After Technical Inspection

After taking the SECA Late Model victory this past Saturday night (5/09/2015) at Cherokee Speedway, race winner Joey Coulter's engine was protested by a fellow competitor and immediately secured by track officials. In accordance with SECA rules and regulations, the engine was removed and sent to a neutral site for technical inspection by SECA certified engine rebuilders. The results of that inspection have been both completed and confirmed. Coulter's engine was declared legal, he is now the official 5/09/2015 winner at Cherokee, and he will receive all of the posted race winnings and track points.

A huge thanks goes out to the respective teams, Cherokee Speedway, and the inspecting officials for their assistance with this inspection. The process was handled very carefully and professionally. Congratulations to Joey Coulter and the 2 team on their victory.
